Xiaomi 12S Ultra the S22 Ultra Killer — TechUnofficial

Just like every year, Xiaomi has launched their Ultra flagship phone with Ultra killer specs and I dare say it looks amazing…

Xiaomi’s 12S Ultra comes packed with the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 which is both powerful and efficient as compared to the previous 8 Gen 1 and will provide constant performance without a drop which was a problem with the 8 Gen 1

Now coming to the most exciting part of the Xiaomi 12S Ultra, which is the Cameras, they are just insane with the huge 1-inch main camera sensor. Now, this is not the first time that this huge camera sensor has been used, but Xiaomi has taken a step further with image processing. The Images from the 12S Ultra look unlike any other smartphone, they look more natural, yep Xiaomi devices have a habit to overdo the saturation sometimes, but still better than Samsung I’d say. Also, Xiaomi has partnered with Leica for enhancing the shots, which doesn’t go well as we have seen it previously with the OnePlus 9Pro, so don’t get excited just because it has Leica written on the back of the Phone.

The Rear of the device almost reminds me of the Lumia 1020 with that huge camera bump which BTW is on the top. Xiaomi 12S Ultra gets a 50mp main camera sensor with a 48mp Ultra Wide lens and on top of that a 48mp 5x telephoto lens, so pretty much the same as the Mi 11 Ultra, just the upgrades on the main camera sensor…

12S Ultra has a noticeable smaller display than the previous Mi 11 Ultra, but it’s better than before. Now packs in the latest Samsung E5 LTPO AMOLED display which can shift its refresh rate between 1hz to 120hz and also the peak brightness is now 1500nits, so no problem using it on a hot sunny day…

The charging capabilities are also Ultra with 67W wired and 50W wireless could have been better if it would have supported 120W wired charging. The battery capacity of the Xiaomi 12S Ultra is 4860mAh which is sufficient I guess…

Overall Xiaomi 12S Ultra seems to be a good Smartphone to go for, but if you’re really concerned about the MIUI then just skip it and go for the S22 Ultra which has a better UI all in all, still let me know your views on the 12S Ultra…
