Ford has launched the Mach-E mustang, which is a EV, and at the first it felt, boring, but it was insane, and great so here’s another top notch variant with insane numbers….

Ford has revealed a new variant of the top-of-the-line Mustang Mach-E GT, dubbed the ‘GT Performance Edition’. Effectively an even quicker version of the standard GT, it produces the same amount of power (480 hp) but manages to go from 0–60 mph in just 3.5 seconds, versus the regular GT’s 3.8. That 3.5 second 0–60 mph time is the same as a that of a Lamborghini Urus, FYI. Due to the extra performance range is unfortunately down 15 miles from the regular GT to an EPA estimated 235 miles per charge. However you’ll get Pirelli summer tires and magnetorheological dampers as standard, as well as an extra 34 lb-ft of torque (634 lb-ft in total). Pricing is yet to be confirmed but we expect a mark up of around $5k versus the regular GT, so think $65k territory (or $57,500 after the FTC)
