OnePlus working on a smartphone with front facing camera in the Bezel

OnePlus is working on, to fit the front facing camera in the top Bezel, which is interesting, but pretty much complicated…

OnePlus is trying to do the old ways, like every smartphone back then had the front facing camera in the Top bezel, to get you an idea, It might look like Samsung Galaxy S8 and S9, but OnePlus might reduce the sensor size and might do it better and make the bezel a bit thin…

We have seen different type of implementation of front facing camera, to achieve more Screen to body ration, like the popup cameras, flip cameras, the iPhone notch, the tear drop notch, water drop notch, and the trend which is going on now, the Hole punch cut out..

There are some other implementations too the under display camera is likely to be the next trend, but its not that refined, as you get lens distortion, as it has to pass through two glass surfaces…

OnePlus is more like to go on their way to find a new implementation for the front facing camera, OnePlus might do it successfully, but the Bezel might get thick, as there are limitation to shrink the camera sensor…
