OnePlus Nord V/S Samsung Galaxy M51 — Which one to buy

OnePlus Nord and Samsung Galaxy M51 quite fit in the same price category, so why not compare them, and see which is best choice to buy right now…

Lets first talk about specs, Nord is a 5G device and M51 isn’t, but does it really matter, No!, and that’s because of in India there is no 5G connectivity, so its waste, for now!!!

Nord has snapdragon 765G and M51 has snapdragon 730G, both are great processors, but comparing the scores, Nord beats M51, not by a great margin but!!

Lets talk about the highlights, OnePlus have 90hz fluid Amoled display, but M51 have 7000mAh battery, and if you think of the display on the M51, its S Amoled, great in every way…

Both Nord and M51 get fast charge support, and fast adapter in the box, Oneplus has 30W and Samsung got its 25W, and it takes long to charge M51 as it has big battery. You get reverse charging on the M51 which is good if you want to charge your wireless earphones.

Talking about earphones, Nord hasn’t got headphones jack but M51 does, here a plus point!!!

Both the devices get great storage options, upto 8GB/128GB on M51 and upto 12GB/256GB on Nord so no problem with storage…

Lets talk about the cameras now, there’s 48mp quad camera setup on the Nord, and 64mp quad camera setup, just forget about the other lens on any of these devices, they are quite average expect the wide angle lens….

The pictures taken from Nord seem to have great dynamic range compared to M51, and coming to wide angle lens, M51 performed very well, and front camera’s are great on both the devices, but Nord gets an extra wide angle lens on front, so there’s a plus point..

OnePlus performed great in the night, while M51 was average…

Now looking upto price, if you’re going buy right now, you can get M51 68GB variant for 24K INR. And comparing the same variant price, OnePlus Nord costs 28K INR….

Overall, you can’t go wrong with any of this device, but I might say if you want to buy right now go for M51, as you’ll get it for 19'499, as Amazon is offering 3000 INR cash back.

And if you’re the person who use smartphone for more than 2 years, then you can go for Nord, as the 5G might be useful then!!!
