iPhone 12 has better resale value than the new galaxy S21
Both the s21 series and the iPhone 12 series are the latest flagship from the Samsung and Apple, and they do cost high, and also the refurbished one are costly. When you exchange a smartphone, you basically sell it to the company, which then are sold as refurbished. But there are brand certified and non certified, so Brand certified are much more costlier than the non certified, but the seller gets more money through non certified…
So lets not brag about, And concentrate on the topic. In general Apple devices are much popular in used phone category, and that’s mainly because of the Branding, and second due to the Service, and by service I mean, You get much longer updates on the Apple devices than any other android devices, like the iPhone Se which was launched in 2016 still got the iOs 14 update, and runs smoothly, but in the similar condition the galaxy S7 which was also launched in 2016, got the last update on Android 8.0, so The Apple does offer a great service…
The another thing to notice is that Samsung offers better hardware, yes Samsung offer it too, but Apple offer it as more durable.. And there is always the one thing that makes stand out Apple, is the cameras, they are better in any angle, Currently S21 Ultra has the great 100x zoom, but iPhone 12 pro max has the LIDAR for better edge detection for the portrait mode..
Apple also has better performance through the Apple Bionic chips, they are way more powerful than the Samsung’s Exynos.
So how much is the difference?
So Galaxy S21 Ultra costs $1249 for 12GB+256GB and the resale value is $670
The iPhone 12 Pro max goes on sale for $1199 for the 6GB+256GB and the resale value is $945

So you loose $579 in the S21 Ultra and $274 on the iPhone 12 Pro max, and you can loose much more on the poor looking devices…

Galaxy S21 Ultra costs 105,999 INR and you can get about 60K to 63K INR
while the iPhone 12 PRO Max costs 139,990 INR, which is quite expensive and the resale value is 83K to 87K depends
